Graduate Student in Mathematics
About Me
I study Elliptic Curves, Cryptography, and make Mathematical Animations.
Hi there! My name is Nic and I am a first year PhD student in the Combinatorics and Optimization department at the University of Waterloo studying under Dr. David Jao. I completed my B.S. and M.S. at Virginia Tech under Dr. Travis Morrison where I wrote a thesis on deciding if a genus 1 curve has a rational point. I have performed research in number theory, post-quantum cryptography, quantum computing, and graph theory.
I am an avid user of a Manim, I run a small YouTube channel, and I make visual expositions for various topics in Mathematics.
